It had been a few weeks, long weeks with nothing to do but work, got to school and ponder being dumped. She felt alone for the weeks, but gradually,
felt more attached to Helena again, and just all around felt better telling herself it was the age difference and refusing to believe anything else.
However, she was still feeling a sort of void in her being and since college was nearly at an end, her roommate would be no more. She needed a pet, a
dog preferably, and she had found a place where she would find her new family member. She walked through the entrance, eyes looking over the animals
through the thin glass window, smiling at each one, and her gentle hand pressing against the glass like a child waiting to get their first puppy.

Goodness, was it really getting this hard to walk in heels? It was as if she had gained at least ten pounds....well not literally but it felt like it.
Her recent eating habits really needed to be revolutionized and fast before she got cellulite on those slender thighs. I mean come on! That seriously
would not work!
She tugged onto that hoody, feeling ironically too revealing as she stumbled past that pet store, yielding in her tracks, turning about and walking
back turtley as she noticed a familiar female gazing through that window."Well if it isn't Solene, I thought you dropped off the face of the earth,"
she cheerfully spoke, pressing her nose against that glass, making baby faces at those cute little puppies gazing up at the two strangers.

"Me too." she said agreeing completely with her sudden absence. She looked away from the puppies, her hand sliding down the window. "Where'd your
fishnets go?" she laughed, hugging her, and leaning her shoulder for a few long seconds before releasing Alex and checking her out. She looked,
different, more mature? No, no that wasn't it. Bigger? Hell no Legs was still all legs, and the over-sized hoodie would hid her chest anyway. "What's
new Legs?" Ha, a nickname long overdue.

There was no deny that she was indeed bigger. I mean on average Alex was quite a thin chick. But now it looked like she was bloated maybe. She had
never experienced this type of weight gain before, besides the part in life where you have to transition from a girl to a woman. But, that was nothing
compared to a thing growing in your belly. "Where'd my fishnets go? Oh they're still there..." she chuckled with a sigh. Looking at her legs in the
reflection of that mirror with a pout." They'll always be here....and um, nothing's been really happening besides this extra gut and Jack and Linnea
traveled to New York. Oh my goodness Solene, he's trying to get his music recognized and Linnea is gonna be in plays!I know they will do
great"breath."... What about u sista?" she asked, tapping her finger on the glass, spotting a beautiful dog from a far.

Extra gut? She smiled along with her, assuming Alex may have just put on a few pounds, but with a thin, toned body like Alex's, a few pounds would be
nothing on appearances. Jack and Linnea, she assumed were her friends, and she smiled at them going off to N.Y to become famous. Living the dream.
"Me? Well, I'm getting ready to get out f my first year of college, my job has been really fun recently. And I'm completely over him." she smiled.
Only because you were forced to. She gazed back through the pane of glass and spotted a baby great dane. "Aw..." she breathed, her heart
aching for all of them.

She smiled at Solene's accomplishments. Especially getting over that man, she couldn't stand watching the girl crumble before her eyes. She would find
another fish in the sea." Hey we should go inside," she suggested seeing Solene eye that great dane as she grabbed her hand. Was that even a dog? More
like a horse! Fucker was huge, but that baby dane seemed harmless, though Alex still didn't even really want to go and check it out but, if Solene
liked it then, it wouldn't hurt to take a risk.

She allowed Alex to guide her into the place where you could take out dogs, get to know them before you adopted them into your household speaking of
which she was in need of. Nobody stayed on campus, and it was only expected that you had somewhere to go to once the year was over. She sighed,
wondering who she could room with. Alex was her first, obvious choice. As soon as an employee approached asking which dog she wanted to see, she
gleefully pointed to the great dane, one that if she adopted would most definitely be called Scooby. She had seen the cartoon before and any dog that
could solve mysteries was worthy of having million's of dogs named after it. "So, why the big hoodie, you are usually showing off your body any chance
you get."

The inside smelled like...animals.What else? It was nauseating , well at least for Alex, holding her breath for dear life, wishing there was food
here....real food besides pet crap. But, she learned how to cope with the scent, looking to Solene with a covered smiled, requesting to the employee
that she wanted that Black and white collie pup, watching as the employee waltzed over to get the great Dane and the collie for the content girls. "Oh
my goodness they are wonderful," she breathed, in lost for words as that puppy was placed into her arms, caressing its delicate coat as if it was
fragile. She could only shrug at Solene's comment. "I wear big hoodies for big things," she smiled, squeezing her breasts and teasing the employee as
he hid with a blush. "Naww, I'm just a bit knocked up that's all..." That's all?! She was making it seem like it was nothing.

"Oh..." Wait, what? She nearly dropped the puppy, her eyes lighting up and her teeth showing fully. "Alex!" she wrapped one arm around her, pulling
her as close as possible without crushing the dogs. "Oh my god!" She squealed, her eyes squeezing shut. "How far along?" she asked finally releasing
her from her death grip. She looked at her stomach. It couldn't be far. She smiled serenely at her stomach and looked into Alex's eyes. She didn't
even seem afraid, or affected. "Aww...I'm so excited for you!" And a bit jealous. She sort of wanted a kid of her own, even thought she was only 18.
She wanted an early start, 25 at the latest.

The next thing she knew she felt Solene's arms wrapped around her, that puppy wiggling around on her, Alex not trying to let it go but hoping it
wasn't losing any oxygen."I'm almost two months," she puffed as Solene realeased her from her grasp, smiling widely at Solene and her excitement at
the news. She was so excited for her? Alex wasn't that excited but she was content, very nuetral about the whole situation. She didn't even know if
she was going to keep it, Jack already showing that he wasn't ready.:I'm sorta nervous," she sighed, kissing the puppy on it's head. "I'm surprised
you arent't knocked up yet,"

Her mouth dropped open. "Yeowch Alex." she sighed. "Why is it so shocking that I'm not knocked up?" she was stung sort of, but she hid it. Her
excitement was too overwhelming to be affected by harmless joking, or things taken the wrong way. She smirked, and laughed lightly but wanted to know
why she was so surprised. Then and only then could she focus her complete attention to Alex and her baby. It would be so cute....

She chuckled. "Yeah, but I'm always prepared. I use the pill." she winked. She too asked for the price because like Alex she wanted a companion. It
wasn't that bad, and the large sum of money her brother and sister sent her were more than enough to keep her afloat. "So, Alex, I was thinking, since
college is done, If I could room with you this summer. I'm totally prepared to pay rent if I need to." she added, not expecting to be turned away, but
the flash of compensation almost ensured it.

Ah...that damn pill.It was not Alex's best friend at all. She always forgot to take it....or maybe she did it on purpose but whatever. She never knew
which days she was gonna get some or not. So she was just gambling. Now it was Alex's turn to squeal, bouncing clumsily into Solene and shakening her
happily. "OH MY GOODNESS OF COURSE YOU CAN STAY WITH ME! AHHH!" okay, maybe she was abit too optimistic, but she , she couldn't help it, her and
Solene would be great roomies." and I think it's a priority for you to help with the rent, ya know help a sista out." she chuckled

"Yay, okay." she smiled, taking out her wallet and counting out 350 for her dog. Scooby. She was giddy all over again. She hopped around and smiled
and kissed her new dog. Or soon to be. She looked back at Alex and smirked. "Now, I'll finally be thinner than you." she said sticking out her tongue
and turning around the 'puppy'. It was damn near full grown. "Aww, sweetheart." she started walking to the front desk, ready to wait days to adopt
this little ball of love.

Damn dogs were expensive. But it was worth it. That was a man' motto everytime he would come to the strip club. Alex sighed at the consent, taking out
her wallet and handing him the same amount for that black and white collie. She couldn't stop herself from bursting out laughing as they walked up to
the counter, the girl never knew there was a competition to see who would be the thinnest." Yea, I guess you will," she chuckled making it her
priority to get this fat off fast when this thing was out of her." we should get some food, I'm starving" she complained, bouncing as the man behind
the counter handed her , her new pet. "Hey Rosco" she babied.

"You guess, you'll have an extra gut in every sense of the word." she laughed. "I will be the skinniest." she laughed. "Oh I don't eat more than 500
calories, see Alex that is the difference between us your not willing to sacrifice." she smiled and wrapped her arm around Alex's waist. And signed on
the dotted line, and then, gave him a name, Scooby of course, and bought everything necessary. Thankfully all shots were given to them already and all
she needed was a collar, a leash, and other things that she quickly bought. She put the collar on him, and the leash and set him down on the linoleum
floor. "Aw! So cute!" she smiled waiting for Alex to decide what restaurant wanted to devour.

Seeming to wander nowhere in the mall, but with a pocket full of cash, Reinee ended up in the pet store, the smell of dog hair and bird filling her
senses. She looked around at the entrance before moving deeper into the store, her fingers grazing a toy or two, examining one if it was colorful. She
never had a pet, and never wanted one, but always loved to see the cute toys people came up with to keep a pet occupied.

Laila had been browsing the store for quite some time before a young girl walked into the store. Laila spent her afternoons here, looking at the cute
puppies, bringing the memories of her childhood back. Laila had a small mini dachshund when she was a kid. Bullet was his name. She always used to run
around the beach with him, chasing him around and playing with his toys. She made her way towards the store, and she browsed over the toys, looking
for a toy bone Bullet used to have. "Hi." said Laila, waving at the girl.
